At DT Careplus (formerly DTChildcareplus ltd) we know quality, continuity and consistency of care, confidentiality, professionalism, trust and respectful relationship between the carer, the service user and families are important to you as a family.
We will work in partnership with you, supporting and continually working to meet your child care needs, seeking your views and taking them on board.
We continually strive to improve our services using feedback from parents and carers.

Information For Families
What you get for using our services:
- A service led by and managed by a parent with personal and professional experience of children and adults with learning disabilities.
- Access to fully qualified and experienced care workers.
- Consistency of care – each service user has an allocated key worker and a team of other care workers built around the service user.
- Access to safe, quality and professional specialist are service.
- Providing excellent flexible customer service and personal support (to deal with any complaints, special requirements, ad-hoc or last minute care requirements)
- A website and phone line for enquiries and bookings.
How we recruit our care workforce
At DT Careplus, we take safe recruitment seriously.
All our care workers have a proven track record, recognised qualification, mandatory and specialist training such as autism, managing behaviours that challenge, epilepsy and so on.
Most of our carers also have at least two years experience in care, education and the social care field.
How to access our services
Families can access our services through a local Authority or Social Worker referral (direct payment), or a Parent or Carer contacting us directly.

We have a wide range of trained and experienced care workers that can meet the social and personal care needs of most children and adults with disabilities in the service user’s own home, at our daycenter Thrive, or out and about in the community.
We have worked with Luton Borough Council, Central Bedfordshire Council and surrounding authorities.
